And he has discovered several rare and mysterious ancient artifacts throughout his travels. Before becoming an explorer he was a history professor specializing in ancient civilizations.

about the author

Teko Bernard is a imaginative storyteller and seasoned designer, who also loves books, music, basketball, and the great outdoors. It was Teko's interests in geography, global landmarks, and ancient civilizations, legends & myths which ultimately inspired him to create and write BERNARD JONES IS GOING PLACES. Teko's books explore themes of courage, family, imagination, and adventure. Prior to writing books, Teko enjoyed a 15-year career as a creative director and designer—with a focus on sportswear branding and sports event marketing. He is currently working on his next book and developing animation concepts based on his books and IPs.

Fun fact:
Teko's Grandfather who was an adventurous and successful traveling Antique dealer was a big inspiration for the GRANDPA JONES character in the story.
